Pregnancy, sleep and increase in body weight all go hand in hand. As your pregnancy progresses, your weight will increase and this can have a dramatic affect on your ability to sleep comfortably. As your weight increases, you previously comfortable bed will feel less comfortable as its ability to support the extra weight is diminished. As a result you may have to replace the mattress or get a foam insert to help improve the support.

Weight and pressure points!

We have pressure points all over our body. In order to be comfortable while sleeping, these points need to be as comfortable as possible. As your pregnancy advances, and your weight increases, these pressure points will become more sensitive. You can find out more about sleeping comfortably here – Cheap Mattress Reviews.

Elevating the unborn!

Elevating the neck and head as well as the legs can improve circulation while you sleep. This can help reduce pain caused by pressure points and allow you and your baby to sleep longer.

The before and after bed stretch!

A pregnant woman needs more sleep then usual. As a result they may spend an excessive amount of time in bed. While everyone stretches after they wake up, most fail to realize the importance of also stretching before lying down. These bed time stretches can help you fall asleep quicker and have a more enjoyable rest.

Whose side is whose?

You may find that having grown used to one particular side of the bed, you are no longer able to get comfortable. As a result, you may want to change to the other end of the bed. Do not do this, but rather change to the opposite side.

Sleep comfortably!

You have to be comfortable when you sleep. This of course is an obvious one, but one thing many people fail to take into account is the height of the bed from the floor. This can have a dramatic impact on one’s ability to get comfortable and for a pregnant woman this height can change suddenly.

A pregnant woman needs to get more sleep then anyone else. They have to sleep for two and because they are carrying and eating for two, making sure that they get a good night’s rest is so much more important. If you want to find out more about how to get a great nights sleep on a cheap mattress this is a good place to start.
